TV programmes of interest - 22 & 23 December 2009
Chris Terrill made the TV programme called 'Commando - On the Front Line' and has just followed the wounded on their expedition to the Himalayas.
Terrill said: "I just wanted to alert you and the Royal Marines Association to my forthcoming films about the wounded Bootnecks who recently took part in the Khumbu Challenge. The two part series is called 'Wartorn Warriors' and will air on Sky1 on the 22nd and 23rd December at 9pm.
The two one-hour films tell a remarkable story about the recovery and rehabilitation of these men against a backdrop of adventure in the high Himalayas. The story of these men - their courage, indomitable spirit and humour - is one that I am sure will uplift and inspire the (UK) nation."
